As a college athlete, we worked extensively with a sports psychologist to help us break through a few mental ceilings like not scoring after the 4th inning, combining back to back hits, and recovering from errors. That year we had a tremendous season and won our conference tournament three years in a row.
We did multiple exercises throughout the year and met individually with the sports psychologist to collectively achieve the season we wanted. Here I will share one exercise we did to set all of the other mental training in motion. You can do this with your team or individually.
