One of my little speeches I have is comparing pitching to driving a car. Legs control the speed of the car and arms control direction. If you tried to switch then you would takeout all the mail boxes on the street!
I also like to have girls pitch from 43 ft mounds, about 10 or so. Typically they start using their bodies without instruction.
You can also use medicine ball workouts. Sometimes, at younger ages, they just need to get stronger to improve body control. I have included that workout for you.
If your daughter has some pitching experience, she my need my Fastball fix program. It is a 6 week program, lots of overlap with the 8 week program. It moves a little faster through the beginning concepts and I added a few basic speed drills.
