These make the motion easier and faster. Teaching the body to move faster will create physiological adjustments in the nervous system. When done consistently, the body learns to move faster on its own. These exercises are great for long term speed improvement.
Resisted / Assisted exercises compliment each other in any training program. To get best results, athletes should complete both types of exercises. R/A alone will get results but proper strength training will always maximize results.
